Join us for our first fall 2013 ‘92nd Street Y’ broadcast on Sunday, October 6th from 2-4p.m. Partially sponsored by a generous grant from The United Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York, the broadcast is “OneVoice” This blueprint for the Middle East Peace is an international grassroots movement that aims to magnify the voice of Israeli and Palestinian moderates, empowering them to demand a two-state solution. Moderator is Rabbi Jennifer Krause, an author and commentator. The panel is comprised of Daniel Lubetzky, CEO and founder of KIND Healthy Snacks and the KIND movement; the founder of PeaceWorks and the OneVoice Movement, Jason Alexander, actor, director, producer, writer, comedian – best known for his role as George Costanza on Seinfeld, Daisy Khan, an executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement, mentoring young Muslims on challenges of assimilation, developing an American Muslim identity while building bridges between Muslim community and general public and Ambassador Dennis Ross, a counselor at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, special assistant to President Obama and National Security Council and a year as special advisor to Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. A discussion to follow the presentation. The cost is $5 per person which includes light refreshments. It is open to the public.
