Join your local firefighters for a day of fun to kick off Fire Prevention Week on Saturday, October 4. Programs will be running at all three fire stations. Check out the poster for more information. The Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department is a volunteer-based service that provides a range of programs to protect the lives and property of the inhabitants of the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc from the adverse effects of fires, sudden medical emergencies or exposure to dangerous conditions created by man or nature. The Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department operates three fire stations located in Strathroy, Mount Brydges, and Melbourne. The Administration Office for the department is located in Strathroy. The department consists of a full time Fire Chief, an administrative assistant, and a volunteer Deputy Fire Chief responsible for the administration and management of the combined fire service of the municipality. A District Fire Chief, a Deputy District Fire Chief, Captains, and a complement of fire fighters are responsible for the operation of each of the three fire stations.
