Joined the group a couple of weeks ago or so, and just been reading all your posts, and come to the conclusion Im in the minority! Not too many old grey haired males around here, so my suggestions/reads may not be of much use but I am enjoying your reads as giving me plenty of new choices etc :) Anyroads heres a few Ive recently read and enjoyed : And the Mountains Echoed - Khaled Hosseini (same guy who wrote The Kite Runner) / The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry - Rachel Joyce / Guernica - Dave Boling / Stardust & American Gods - both by Neil Gaiman, good if you like your fantasy books scary and unsettling! While were on quirky then The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake - Aimee Bender and The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out The Window And Disappeared - Jonas Jonasson are good ones. Finally for a really interesting biography/history then try The Hare With Amber Eyes - Edmund De Wall. So there you go ... :)
