The movies cinematographer Larry Fong recently uploaded a photo to Instagram that has caused many fans to speculate about its possible significance for the Man of Steel sequel. Fongs picture shows a playing card, which has long been a trademark of the iconic Batman villain The Joker. Warner Bros has yet to issue any formal comment on if The Joker will in fact be seen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The picture has caused tremendous speculation online, although some have pointed out that the playing card could have been in reference to a trick by magician Ricky Jay. The so-called Clown Prince of Crime has previously been played on the big screen by Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger. It was recently confirmed that The Joker will eventually appear in the live-action Batman prequel series Gotham, which is unconnected to director Zack Snyders movie.
