Jollytails is HIRING. We are a very busy doggy daycare, dog training, grooming and pet store business located in the Halifax peninsula. We are looking for upbeat, reliable and hard working individuals to add to our team. Duties include managing and monitoring large groups of dogs, cleaning, front desk customer service and sales duties. Must love dogs! Jollytails is a FUN place to work but please keep in mind it is not always a great time. Things can get a little loud and hectic, there is lots of poop, pee and sometimes vomit cleaning. There is an outside area for dog play, so this will mean spending lots of time outside in rain, snow, wind and shine. Dogs range from very small to very large. You must be confident and physically strong enough to be able to handle dogs of all sizes. Reliability is # 1: It is critical that we have the appropriate staffing levels to monitor our playgroups. If you have a history of lateness or time missed, this is not the job for you. Schedules and hours may vary. Applicant must be flexible to work any shift as required.
