Jones County Heritage Festival was an great accomplishment Saturday and it also proves how much love the citizens have for their county and each other.. Everyone was so happy, children playing digging dirt, riding the pony, 75 Venter had their booths filled with beautiful displays and good prices too. Our Volunteer Fire and EMS had displays selling tickets, food, books etc. and cooking, and others were cooking soul food, hot dogs, fresh vegetables of all kinds for sale. The food was delicious and everybody was talking about the food. Car show was outstanding and the motor cycles were too. The talent show was awesome and we have a lot of talent and some need to be in Nashville or New York with all of the singing and dancing and had an exercise dance. Most of all was the laughing, seeing friends and love ones so happy and working and being together. A lot of our citizens worked very hard to make this a great day in Jones County and they did that and I thank you all, you are so special. Thank you God for all you have given to us.
