Joplin area friends...I need your advice and suggestions. For the first time in thirty years I have a dental problem. Outside of cleaning, I have needed nothing else. Now I really do have a sort of emergency. Medicare takes care of our health and our eyes but does nothing but cleaning for our teeth. I only have medicare/insurance and nothing is covered. So...I am needing to find a dentist that bases his charges on income and would not turn me away without insurance. I have a little bit of savings and some money coming at tax time but I think they wont even see me without insurance. Any experiences or suggestions you can share with me? Is there a dental college here? I am not too proud to go wherever I can get some help. Ugh...
