Jose Mourinho is hoping to keep Petr Cech at the club [Sky Sports]. In the club’s first Premier League match of the season, it was 22-year-old Thibaut Courtois who got the nod to start. And after 3-1 win against Burnley, Mourinho revealed he hoped Cech would stay with the club and reject any deals offered for him before the end of the summer transfer window. As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “Petr Cech was disappointed but football is sometimes like this, players can often be unhappy and be unhappy with managers. “But between the group of players and their mates they have to be supportive. “I hope he doesn’t want to go and I hope he doesn’t have offers to go and if he does have offers he refuses to go. “I would be delighted to have two of the best goalkeepers in the world in my squad.” I just hope he stays, your say?
