Joseph StellaAmanda Greenwood Mandi beat me to Christmas shopping and wrapping this year and brought back some Christmas Memories. I know it’s early but they are great memories and I want to hear about yours. Christmas is my favorite Holiday! Share one of your favorite Christmas Memories! Here’s mine…. I’m going to share two! My son was out on his own, married, had his first son. His family came for Christmas and when we were finished unwrapping and cleaning up the mess…. JoJo: Mama where’s my stocking? Me: Ummmm JoJo you’re grown now JoJo: Oooo NO! That’s my favorite part of Christmas is my stocking and everything you put in it and getting my Animal Crackers! Don’t let this happen again! Me: Ok Ok I wont! There are certain “MUSTS” for the Christmas Stockings and YES I will search til I find them! This mistake has never been made since! Ha Mandi was a huge help at Christmas when it came to wrapping, it was a special time we shared getting stuff done and nothing like seeing the tree loaded down! I had everything in boxes ready to go… stacked per person. We were both sitting in the floor and some wrapping fools! I would give Mandi a stack and she would wrap them and once done ask who it was to and put the labels on them appropriately. Mandi: Ok next! Me: Here you go and pushed a good size stack to her. Mandi: Ok done! Who do these go to? Me: YOU! Mandi: WHAT? I WRAPPED MY OWN GIFTS? I’m not sure she has forgiven me for that one yet! Ha! I still giggle to this day every time I think back to the look on her face when I said “YOU”
