Joseph is thrown into prison for something he didnt do...yet while in prison he gains favour to oversee other prisoners. we often read that story & conclude on the unfairness of lifes dealing to Joseph - yet it is while in prison that Joseph gets a Degree in the art of human interaction, life preservation, leadership & character. by the time he is made Ruler over the affairs & runnings of Egypt & he excells in preserving life during the famine & beyond. The prison was not a restriction - but a set up for him to gain the character needed to be effective in his assigned purpose. Too often we feel life throws us into prisons, restricts us, keeps us from progressing, yet its in those prison moments that God teaches us the greatest lessons on what we need in order to fulfill His purpose for our lives. Embrace your prison walls, while in there, like Joseph, interpret life different & like Paul & Silas pray your way out of bondage!
