Josh has made a blazing trail across the medical profession since his birth, he has stunned many many experts with his profoundly complex, rarest of the rare, medical monster of a disease. Today after a year of waiting and through Simon Turnbull we finally went today to get Joshs specific motor proficiency BOT test done by a Paed OT, Amy Valentine. She was completely floored by what she saw in Josh, in all her years of experience she had never come across a child with his level of hypermobility. Conversely, she was astounded by his level of fatigue during the test. But most poignantly she was very direct and perfectly correct in her conclusion, we are dealing with a child with insurmountable invisible issues. His personality charmed us all, we were in stitches until his energy crash, and she was completely entertained by him, mainly due to the variances he threw up in his testing as well. I cant wait to see her next week. She is one of the warmest kindest caring people Ive met in the medical field, and man, Ive met dozens and dozens.
