【Joshi-Tabi (女子旅) - Girls’ Travel】 Experience the winter wonderland at the Kamakura Festival Hot spring town Yunishigawa in Nikko is just about an hour away from Tokyo. Though the town receives a fair amount of visitors throughout the year, the Kamakura (igloo) Festival season is probably the most popular time to visit. This year, the festival takes place from 24 January to 8 March, during which people can enjoy barbeque in a snow house, go sledding, and try many local dishes and specialties.
