Josè Mourinho shows a side that we can not expect from him: he showed his kind side. Shawn Kuykendall is a former MLS player who was a true fan and supporter of Chelsea and in 2005 he played a match with Chelsea. In that occasion, he received the Frank Lampard shirt. He played for the DC United and the Red Bull Player but he contracted thymus cancer in November 2013 and sadly succumbed to the disease in March of this year after a well publicised battle. Mourinho wrote a letter to his family: I was deeply saddened to hear of your sons passing, I can only imagine the grief of a parent losing a child and my heart goes out to you both. I hope you and your family find great strength in the shared memories of Shawns life at this toughest of times and also in the future. The football family has lost a fine young man, and everyones thoughts at Chelsea FC are with you, your family and Shawns friends. With much sympathy, Yours sincerely,Jose Mourinho.
