Joy and Fear We keep forgetting That we live on wires in the sky. To fall is very easy, It’s just a matter of time For everyone. But even seeing people fall We keep forgetting… In this life we walk on thin ice And we know. But still It always takes us by surprise When ice is cracking And spring water swallows us… We sail this life-sea By our body-boat. It slowly sinks It won’t be ever mended. But knowing this We still keep forgetting And even force ourselves To forget… This world seems to us So real. How can we understand It’s just a deeper, longer dream? A dream can finish any moment. How can we, knowing that, Not be distressed? How can we embrace this joy of living But hold it loose? How not to forget And not to fear?..
