Joy seems to be something a lot people are wishing for in their lives and I’m not talking about the lady named Joy, although she might be very nice, I’m talking about the emotion. People seem to be under some impression that if they look hard enough they will find joy. Joy is an emotion; its a feeling that is inside of you. Joy is something you have the ability to create. Joy is not an event or person or place, its a feeling. Take one minute of your precious time here and look inside of you, and find that tiny little thing that will create your feeling of joy. It could be looking at your kids or remembering a great night with friends or that half hour you took to sit at the water’s edge and watch the sun go down. My point is this, you will never find ‘joy’ if you think you need to run around and look for it. All you will do is run around and waste time. Joy is inside each of us... find it, make it grow and watch what happens. G.
