Jude Zechariahs Praise Report, as of 12-14-14 God has been extremely generous in His blessings for our family… Praise the Lord for the following: - You are all amazing prayer warriors. - His stomach is tolerating the feeding g-tube, no vomitting. - Hes already tugging on his feeding tube, so we will be requesting a mini one button g-tube. (Its smaller and flatter, so tummy time and crawling will be done with ease.) - He is gaining weight, slowly, but surely. - Jude has been poked many times to move his IV, for various blood tests, etc. After 3 attempts yesterday, they drew (hopefully, his last blood test for awhile) a good sample for the muscle and chromosome tests. Results for chromosome test take several weeks. His muscle assessment came back normal. - Swallow study got moved for tomorrow. - He is enjoying the swing here in the hospital. (We might need to get a portable one for home.) - His Daddy and siblings are benefitting from amazing meals. Thanks Meal Train volunteers! - Mommy is getting trained to give his meds and Mommys milk in the g-tube. He does nurse for a little bit before each feeding. Brief History: Jude was born 34 weeks premature. He stayed in the NICU for one month. He stayed home for 2 months seeing various doctors weekly (cardiologist, opthamologist, pediatrician, GI Specialist) for his ectopic atrial tachycardia, extra heartbeats, drifting and dancing eyes, and inability to gain weight. He was then admitted into the hospital for being failure to thrive. See above for current status and below for whats been going on.
