Judge John Hodgman Rules via The New York Times Magazine KIMBERLY WRITES: My husband started reading the Game of Thrones books while we were watching the show. I asked him not to read ahead of the show, but he has. He told me that a bunch of crazy stuff is going to go down in the fourth season, which I feel is a spoiler in and of itself. He feels that I should not have any say in what he reads. Who is right? It is true that watching TV can be a communal act, and I would behead your husband for the treason of watching ahead. But reading is personal, and banning or even slowing it would be tyranny. But youll love this season: Tyrion Lannister gets hit by a car TWICE, and the three dragons all come together to form one mecha-super-dragon. Also, this was written on April 1 (or WAS IT?).
