Judging by the nightmares and rumors that my friends (and their friends) are posting, the Affordable Care Act spells the ruin of civilization as we know it. Maybe they are right but in the meantime, someone we all know had a nice exeperience. My daughter and her husband are paying a huge amount every month for health insurance for themselves and their two beautiful children. (I so proud that my little girl can afford it, but that is a whole nother story.) Smart as she is, she has not managed to get on The Website yet, but, she tells me that for a year now, she no longer has had to make a co-pay when she takes her toddlers to the doctor for wellness visit. Lets see: two children times $40.00 co payment times all those immunizations and boosters. The ACA is a blessing in our family.
