Jugal leads deputation of CP workers to PHE office Jammu, July 8: BJP State President & MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma alongwith party’s state working committee member Nand Kishore, led a deputation of the community participation workers to the office of the PHE Executive Engineer at Jammu to take up the plight of these people engaged by the department on need basis. These people had reached Jammu from different panchayats of Nagrota assembly constituency. Jugal Kishore Sharma, while apprising the Executive Engineer Nazir Ahmed about the grievances of these people, said that they have not been paid even a single penny for the last one year despite the fact they have been performing their duties regularly. These people belong to very poor families and are striving hard for their survival as they are not in a position to even manage 2-time meals. Jugal Kishore Sharma told the Executive Engineer that the Community Participation Workers, who have been engaged to run motors, filtration plant and releasing water for public consumption, are already suffering on account of price-rise of essential commodities and at the same time they are not getting their emoluments for long, which is indeed injustice with them. Executive Engineer Nazir Ahmed gave a patient hearing towards the grievances of the community participation workers and assured the MLA that their cases will be taken up on priority and resolved at the earliest.
