Juicing ... Just finished homemade Tomato Juice ( I call it V-? ) 1 can of Hunts Tomato Puree (no preservatives) 32 oz. Dice small the following: 1/2 med. Green Pepper 1/2 small onion 2 cloves garlic 1/2 small carrot 3/4 stalk celery 1/2 teaspoon thyme 1 teaspoon italian herbs mixed 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper (ground) 1 tablespoon honey Cook all the ingredients in a little water - till it just cover the ingredients in a small pan (all but the tomato puree and the honey) on very low heat for about 15 min. Mix in the blender (add the tomato puree and the honey here) till emulsified. Pour into container add water to the satisfaction of your drinking pallet. Refrigerate till very cold and shake well before pouring into a glass to drink. It will quench your thirst, and provide a quick pick me up when needed. Enjoy !!! Sometimes when I can get fresh asparagus I like to add 1/4 of a bunch (7-8, 8" stalks, diced and cooked with the other ingredients). Makes approximately 2 Quarts (64 oz) of Juice.
