The CPF is Optional for some – to the detriment of us when it gives employers the ability to hire workers more cheaply through the exemption of CPF payment as part of the business cost. Just like National Service which is now loathed and discredited it is only Compulsory for the citizens but the sons of the politicians, elites and their cronies can enjoy a ‘sweetheart deal’ whereby they can avoid the rigours and risks of doing NS by doing dubious other ‘NS’ duties or be entirely exempt from it. Liars and Hypocrites! Maintain the rage. Fix ‘em good in GE 2016. If you think the AIMGATE scandal is a big deal do be prepared for your eyes to pop out when the full extent of their inappropriate dealings and mismanagement is laid out bare for the public to see.
