Julie Ong: October 18, 2013 at 2:49 am (Quote) Firstly, I’d declare that I have a vested interest in the CPF, namely I’m over 55 years old and rightfully should have ALL my money back. The point that I have no need for the money is Irrelevent. The government sees the CPF as a Cash cow – milk it whenever they want it. They further schemed to rob us by changing the rules and regulations when the SOLE aim of the CPF is financial security in retirement. This government is a thief……….and we must NOT allow them to manipulate our life savings. We worked hard. They talked and think of ways to ‘fix’ us. No Responsibility, but full of lies and excuses. I will never resile from my view that this government will continue to bring more misery to the people. They are indeed a Cancer that has to be removed. The choice is ours to decide our Future or have the PAP government destroy our future. Thanks, Guru for enlightening us. The CPF is Optional for some – to the detriment of us when it gives employers the ability to hire workers more cheaply through the exemption of CPF payment as part of the business cost. Just like National Service which is now loathed and discredited it is only Compulsory for the citizens but the sons of the politicians, elites and their cronies can enjoy a ‘sweetheart deal’ whereby they can avoid the rigours and risks of doing NS by doing dubious other ‘NS’ duties or be entirely exempt from it. Liars and Hypocrites! Maintain the rage. Fix ‘em good in GE 2016. If you think the AIMGATE scandal is a big deal do be prepared for your eyes to pop out when the full extent of their inappropriate dealings and mismanagement is laid out bare for the public to see.
