Julie didnt get enough hiking in the snow yesterday in Dry Canyon and wanted to go up Squaw Peak. We walked from my parents house up to the mouth of Little Rock Canyon and climbed up the front of Squaw Peak then traversed the long ridge south to the summit. We went down via Little Rock Canyon. Snowshoes were required most of the way. Total of 7.2 miles with a little over 4 hours of hiking time. It was a great way to spend Christmas Eve day!
