Julie wrote--Hey guys I got my 1st prosthesis today LBK 2/3/14! I have a question for everyone. When I walk unaided (without cane or crutches) I have a lot of pain. The pain kind of spreads all around my leg at the knee area. The pain isnt so bad when I use some kind of aid. Is this normal? Is it just my leg not used to the prosthesis? I really want to walk without any aids whatsoever but it hurts too much to do that. Am I expecting too much too soon? I thought when people used aids it was more for balance.
