Julieanne Reed and Melinda Clayton please keep my sweet 14 year old dog named Candy in your thoughts and prayers and please spread this message. Candy wad attacked by another dog one week ago today. We didnt have the funds to take her to the local animal emergency hospital so we cleaned her up and had her at the vets when they opened at 730 in the morning. Three drains were put in. They were removed Thursday, but there is necrotic tissue and infection. Candy is currently on pain meds, two antibiotics, an anti-inflammatory, an appetite stimulant because she wasnt eating and lost 6 pounds between Monday and Friday. She is also on a special skin cleanser to clean the wounds. Please keep her in mind and in your prayers for a good, steady recovery. We have had many setbacks and the road is still long. The very is letting us charge Candys care as we only had 190 dollars to put down. The current balance approaches 700 dollars. I would like to thank Dr. Margaret Monte of Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital for her kindness and tireless care of Candy. Please she is so precious to us, keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
