July 1,2013 the tax on each dollar on overnight RV or Tent camping, Hotel, Motel rooms and restaurants inside the Hot Springs city limits at privately owned businesses goes from 13.625% on the dollar to 14.125%. On the other side of the tax collection spectrum "Gulpha Gorge campground collects "0%" on the dollar and like the corps of engineers and state parks uses the taxes gathered by "privately owned campgrounds Hotels and Motels to add luxury to their RV Tent, Cabin and Hotel rooms and restaurants that are in turn charging way less than the going rates we heavily taxed private businesses have to charge. We are collecting these absorbent taxes to give to the Government to have the Government put us out of business. When did the government go into the business of putting private business out of business? jy
