July 12, 2013 The Dryden Police received a report on July 11 regarding the theft of two kayaks from the shores of Wabigoon Lake. These were taken from a Pronger Parkway residence. One is blue and white and the other red and white; both had been seen on shore the evening of July 10th. Anyone with information or who has seen the kayaks is asked to call the Dryden Police Service or Crime Stoppers. Police would like to issue a word of caution to people purchasing items online, particularly items offered for sale on sites such as Kijiji, CKDR, Craig’s List, etc. Do your homework, and ensure that you are purchasing from a reputable seller or site. As we have said in the past, if a deal seems too good to be true or the seller is offering unbelievable discounts on the item or shipping just to get you to buy, you should likely steer clear.
