July 2, 2013 - Word for Today Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Point to Remember: So often in our lives, we talk Christ but do not live Christ. We proclaim to love everyone, but we do not display love for everyone. We asked God to use us for His glory, but we spend eight hours on our job complaining. We get upset if our song is not sang on Sunday morning. We hug people on Sundays, but avoid them on Mondays. Beloved, we are commanded to represent Christ wherever we go. Each day presents different challenges and dilemmas. The enemy never rest from attempting to attack you. There will always be co-workers who speak against you. Supervisors who upset you. In spite of it all, we must still represent Christ. (SN: Your light should reflect Christ).
