July 20,2013: It was a day remember for about 1,000 students and teachers to mark the 10th anniversary celebration of SHIKSHANA FOUNDATION. And inspiring them was former president APJ-KALAM sharing his experience as teacher and student with education minister KIMMANE RATNAKAR as the hounarable guest. Kalam started off by asking students to chart their course. "how can you achieve this? You have to in through four steps..... *great aim *continuos acquiring of knowledge, *hard work, *perseverance. You must have the feeling "I WILL FLY" He said" His message to the youth was they should not be fearful of the future but build their own qualities through knowledge. He asked how many of the students would to be doctors, engineers, and bureaucrats. Many raised their hands. "how many of you want to be politician?" he asked when nobody responded he quipped, "very good, very good"..... After the speech of kalam, KIMMANE RATNAKAR, minister for primary and secondary education, said that are 22,000 teachers posts are vacant and efforts are afoot to fill 12,000 no a temporary basis by august first week "totally there are 1,75,000 posts vacant in various departments,including 22,000 in our department. We have 60,000 government schools and any upgradation needs a huge amount of money"
