July 29th, 2014. Weather Highlight(s): High pressure with warm airmass combined with a surface thermal trough east of the Cascades. S-SW flow aloft will continue to transport moisture and instability up from the south right on through next weekend for continued lightning. Fire Potential: Elevated burning conditions will continue with thermal trough east of the Cascades. Moderate levels of IA will be a daily occurrence right on through the week and next weekend. Large fires could develop almost any PSA east of the Cascades but for now High Risks have been issued for central district (NW05, NW06), NE Oregon (NW11) as well as NE Washington (NW09) as we move forward.
