July 4, 9PM update - Hurricane #Arthur • As of 8:00PM Hurricane Arthur was located about 95 miles south-southeast of Chatham and was moving northeast at 28MPH. Maximum sustained winds were 80MPH. Tropical storm force winds are expected on the Cape and Islands over the next several hours. Arthur is forecast to move out of the area between 2:00 and 3:00AM tonight. • 4 to 7 inches of rain have fallen so far in Plymouth and Bristol Counties. • Nantucket is opening a shelter at Nantucket High School (see previous post for more details)
