Jump Rope for Heart Jump rope took place on 4th March. It was a morning session that lasted 2 hours. Pupils from Wellfield, Wingate Juniors, Deafhill and Blackhall all took part. Altogether there was around 50 children. All pupils taking part skipped for 2 hours to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. The pupils completed a number of different skipping challenges within the 2 hour slot. These included how many people can you get in the rope? A timed skipping course, a skipping race and a tight rope walk challenge. All pupils that took part had a great time and worked really hard throughout the event. The event was put on as part of Wellfields PE transition. SKIPPING CHALLENGE TOTAL = £374.57
