Jun 7, 2013 - SMILE Lately, I discovered how to create a wonderful and beautiful facial expression. This expression is called "SMILE". I learn that to produce this facial expression, I am to slightly keep my lips close and very slowly pull the corners of my mouth upwards. As I am doing this, I begin to feel the expression of joy in my eyes, so much so that even my eyes are smiling. The outer edges of my eyes are also curving upwards. I keep on it till I feel the upper tips of my ears are slowly warming up. I am now in a state of happiness to reach out to the world. I learn that this is a very effective warm facial expression to greet people. I have my full face beaming with the urge of getting to know, my eyes radiating out to connect and my ears yearning to hear. At this point, my heart really reaches out like a child offering a hand of friendship. This is the timely moment to send out a verbal greeting and enjoy the satisfaction of a positive response. Believe me, even my voice come out in a very pleasant, soothing and with confidence. This is something that surprises me, too. I have been practicing this recently on people I meet, friends, colleagues and even strangers, and feel great satisfaction that they responded and reciprocated with a smile and even a greeting. This re-enforces the need to develop this very useful skill and master the technic of smiling. This gives me a very wonderful feeling and I am going to continue practicing this.
