June 25, 2013 DEAR Mr RUDD... I am indeed disappointed that you continue to miss your appointments. It’s been two whole weeks since your last therapy session where we were making only meagre progress. Disastrous hallucinatory relapses are likely to continue if you avoid confronting these innate behavioural deficiencies head-on by yourself. It is clinically retrogressive to pretend you are a well person Mr Rudd when there are people here willing to assist in your proposed recovery. We still have a lot of work to do and my assisting senior psychoanalyst is despairing of the lack of progress made so far. A number of psychologists and clinicians have donated freely of their time but have expressed an intention to withdraw from the project if we don’t have your co-operation. Please ensure you are here for tomorrow’s appointment as undergraduate work-study groups have requested to be present for both the session and post therapy de-briefing. We have a genuine concern that you may again make a bid for your Party’s leadership which would of course have disastrous national, and maybe even international, implications if you were to be successful, particularly given your current state.
