June 28, 2014 God has been stirring a word in my heart today. In my prayer time, I asked Him what should I pray for? What is on my heart? In reflecting on this question, perhaps His was asking me, what was on my heart? I first thanked Him for a friend and her familys healing. Regina and I prayed in faith yesterday, and I am expecting a good report. So, I will continue to Praise Him that they are healed and restored. I then began praying for Merium Ibraheim, the woman that was imprisioned for her faith in Sudan. This lead me to pray for Pastor Saeed Abadini imprisioned in Iran, and all the other brothers and sisters in Christ imprisioned and tortured for their faith in Christ. In praying for them, I must also pray for their captors and tormentors as well. Their sacrifice must not be for nothing. After all the heart of God desires that all men to be saved. 1Ti 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 1Ti 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 1Ti 2:4 Who desires all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1Ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. There is so much darkness in the world today. It gets overwhelming and depressing. It disturbing when I read what is being done in this country to destroy our freedoms and dishonoring our veterans. I find myself getting angry, BUT, that is not what God instructs us to do. 2Ti 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2Ti 2:23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 2Ti 2:24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 2Ti 2:25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 2Ti 2:26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. How do I correct those who are in opposition to Gods will? With His word. The Word of God is powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. The Word of God carries His power, carries His Spirit, carries His Heart. That is how Jesus always answered His critiques. The Word of God carries the Life of God in it. No matter who speakes it, if the hearer recieves the truth of God through the preaching of His word, they will recieve the benefit. It is the Word of God that has the anointing of God in it. The scripture says that the Angels harken to the voice of Gods word. Let the Word of God do the work, my words dont matter unless they are spoken with the heart of God, who desires that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of truth. What is the truth. Jesus said the He was the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. That is the Greatest Truth of all and there will never be one greater. Praise the Name of The Lord forever!
