Prospective candidates wishing to apply must possess the following relevant requirements. Requirements Must be Kenyan citizen Age: Between 18 and 26 years old for GSO Cade and upto 29 years for Specialist Officers. Be physically and medi fit in accordance with t KDF standards . Have no criminal recor Minimum Height : 5 ft 3 (5’ 3”) . Minimum Weight : Men – 54. 55 Kg (120 lb ) Women – 50. 00 Kg (110 Women candidates mu NOT be pregnant at recruitment and during training. Education : General Service Office (GSO ) Cadets A minimum of mean gr (Plain) in KCSE upto de level with minimum su grade of C + (Plus ) in English , Mathematics a any one of the Pure Sciences ( Physics, Che or Biology) . Those aspiring to join as GSO Cadets should that the initial training period will cover three continuous years leadi a BSC in Military Scienc successful completion. Specialist Officers A minimum of mean gr (Plain) in KCSE and an undergraduate degree f a recognised University Institution . Must be registered with the rele statutory body , where applicable. (a) Experience: Minimu two (2) years ’ working experience for Specialis Officers. 2.
