Junior Legal Advisor Trainee (Persons with Disabilities) Financial Services 5 vacancies nationally - Sandton, Menlyn, Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town A blue chip insurance company has a great opportunity for a Person with Disability to work in their branch regionally in the area of Legal Advice relating to Financial Planning. In this role you will provide legal support to Legal Advisors and their teams and assist as required. Some of the key focus areas are: • research on legal technical matters; • preparation of ad-hoc legal presentations; • write financial planning circulars • assist with drafting and providing legal opinions; • interact with the Senior Legal Advisors, Area Managers and Business Consultants with regard to legal advice, training and compliance. To succeed in this role you will need to have the following as a minimum requirement: • Bachelors Degree majoring in Law. Must be completed. • Fluency in English (written and verbal) • Sound interpersonal skills • Some working experience is to your advantage but not essential • Knowledge of legislation relating to Financial Planning is to your advantage but not essential Full training will be provided to the successful candidates. Job Description: Para-planner – Persons with Disabilities 5 vacancies in Cape Town The Para-planner role is responsible for generating qualified leads for the Financial Advisors. The provision of these leads is essentially to help the Financial Advisor focus on their core function which is providing advice to enable sales. The Para-planner carries out their role by telephonically working with new and existing customers, determining the customer specific needs, filtering, assessing and applying the advice logic to determine the appropriate needs of the customer. The Para-planner does not provide advice - however once the Paraplanner has determined the needs of the customer, these are passed onto the Financial Advisor in the form of qualified leads.
