Just A Thought: James 5:13 reads, Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. There is a negative and positive terminal on your automobile battery. In fact, this is true for any battery. Both terminals are important. There is no power without both. When negative affliction (physical pain) comes into our lives, God always gives to us a positive activity to resolve the affliction, prayer. On the other hand, when positive joy (a merry spirit) comes into our lives, God gives to us another positive activity to express our joy, that is singing. God turns our negative into a positive, prayer. God turns our positive into a positive, singing. Gods ways are higher than our ways. They are past finding out. Do afflictions come? Yes. Does joy come. Yes. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Just like night (dark negativity) is good for our rest. God gives us night for our bodies need for rest. God uses the negative, and turns it to our positive. The ruler of darkness is the devil. Christian people are people of the day. Men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. If we suffer affliction of any kind, we are to pray. Brother Marc, when you suffer physical pain do you then pray? Yes, and often! If we are experiencing joy, we are to sing psalms. Brother Marc, do you literally take the book of Psalms when you have joy, and sing them? Yes, one by one! Negative turned to positives! Positives turned to more positives! This is Gods source of POWER! Just A Thought
