Just WOW! Last night I posted that my friend Karen Snizek was participating in the Daytona Beach run this morning. Even though Id hoped for some virtual cheers ons for her, I dont think there were many. Did that stop her? NO! Nothing stops her (except maybe a hot guy in a kilt, lol). She not only finished, she ran BAREFOOT! The writing on her ankle is not a tat, but rather a powerful statement that says I run 4 Nate. Here are Karens words about the run: WHOOOOOoooooOOOOooOHOoooOOOOooo WE DID IT!!! 2 MILES UNDER 30!! WAITING FOR THE RESULTS TO BE POSTED ONLINE.... YAY US!!! *BEAMING WITH PRIDE!!! Karen is one of those personal heroines (of mine, anyway) that are normally unseen. Can we PLEASE get some cheers for her and her son NATE??? HIP HIP HORRAY! Oh, and did I mention she pushed Nate all the way so he could also run the race :)
