Just a few days ago, 16 villages were burned down in Nigeria and thousands of people brutally massacred in the hands of an Islamist extremist group, Boko Haram. Not a single statement from the African Union and any of its member states. Not even a message of solidarity. Then some 12 Whites get killed by Islamist extremists and not only does the world come to a standstill, but some Afrikan heads of state go as far as joining the march in solidarity with the people of France, in Paris. I sit here now thinking back to the words of comrade Mathunjwa who, when addressing miners at Marikana shortly before they were massacred in the hands of state police, begging them to disperse as they are going to kill you, went down on his knees weeping, saying to them: Black life is cheap! African leaders have once again proven themselves to be nothing but toothless house Niggers whose solidarity is pledged to their masters in Europe. These old people have no loyalty to us. They dont love us. They would rather watch us die than risk offending their handlers. At some point, as the youth of this continent, we are going to have to take responsibility for our part in this mess. We continue to endorse these people at the ballot box by voting for them and their reactionary parties, or simply by doing and saying nothing when we see atrocities they commit or fail to prevent. These old people are going to die. What will they leave in our hands? Our own children will be spitting on our graves, calling us ancestors who were accessories to crimes against Black humanity. And theyll be right!
