Just a few reminders..... This Sunday, May 4th we will celebrate Founders’ Day. Burr Datz and friends are our guest musicians for the worship service. Following the morning worship, we invite you to a covered dish dinner in the Fellowship Hall. The goal for the Founders’ Day offering is $5,000. The money will go towards the purchase of new water fountains and into a fund for sanctuary renovations. The Search Team is requesting that each member of our church family pledge to pray for the vitality of our church, the discernment of the Search Team, and Gods candidate for our new Associate Pastor position during the months ahead. There is a sign-up board in the hallway outside the library. Please sign up for at least one 15-minute period so that someone will be praying for 12 hours each day. God is pleased when His people pray in earnest for His will. This Sunday, May 4th will be the last day Children’s Missions will be selling pink roses for Mother’s Day. Please place your order with payment in the offering plate. On Wednesday, April 30th the Stewardship Committee presented a proposal to establish a Manly Endowment Fund. One of the sub-funds would be “Church Ministry” and would be used for current and new ministries of the church. Church missions would benefit from this fund in support of mission trips and local mission projects. I encourage you to look carefully at the Endowment Fund brochure and be on hand to vote on Wednesday, May 21st at the special business meeting.
