Just a friendly history lesson here. The U.S. and Europe were tired of war after the horrors of WWI. Hitler used this to his advantage to wantonly invade and annex his neighbors. The U.S. and Europe are again tired of war after Afghanistan and Iraq. And, once again, we have another bigoted European dictator -- this time Putin of Russia -- willing to invade and annex his neighbors. Mr. Kerry and Obama are now busy negotiating out of weakness with this dictator, basically trying to placate Mr. Putin to forestall his annexing the rest of Ukraine plus Moldova too. It did not work with Hitler. It will not work now. The same pacifist tripe we hear today was used after the Munich Agreement of September, 1938. And look what that brought us. Its better to invoke the heavy pain right now, rather than wait until the situation metastasizes. Do not be so crippled by the Iraq misadventure, America, that you fail to act against the greatest threat of all.
