Just a friendly reminder that no one owes you a Merry Christmas. Its December, not Christmasember. And if you are jonsing hard for a Merry Christmas because you high has worn off, you can do this easy translation in your head when someone says, Happy Holidays to you. Oh, my holiday is Christmas, so that person just said Happy Christmas. Happy and Merry are sort of this same. Wow. What a nice thing to say to a stranger when they didnt even have to say anything to me. Its was thoughtful of them not to assume I was a Christian, because Im smart and know not everyone in the world is a Christian and Im also not wearing my Im a Christian shirt. Its laundry day! Im thrilled they said Happy Holidays because, now that I think about it, they could have said, Go F*ck Yourself. Thank you world, for wishing me a happy my holiday!
