Just a heads up to you all who work for a nonprofit agency: If youre planning on applying for your student loans to be forgiven because you work for a nonprofit agency, you have to fill-out the paperwork 10 YEARS in advance, and make payments for those 10 years, then the rest of your balance will be forgiven. Im 3 years into my nonprofit job, and now I have to pay for 10 more years.. UGH. I wish someone had told me this 3-years ago!
