Just a late night/early morning thought.. After seeing the same protest we always do. People banning together for a change, which almost always results in arrests, arson, and some broken skin. Maybe a different approach is needed. Im not proposing violence against cops by any means and I cant suggest how to avoid injury, but if those same protesters (and Im proposing this to myself just as much to anyone else) stood up as much during an event as its happening to prevent the death in the first place. If enough people took action before instead of after, yes, it might not make the news, but maybe then we can start changing headlines for the better. Even if theres still a few arrests or a little more blood spilled.
