Just a little visual to illustrate the height and power of the water during our last little flood ... See that slot in the concrete in the pic on the left and the two pieces of rebar sticking out in front of it? Well, the large piece of wood in the second pic started out there but ended up in our dye garden. It took three of us to roll the timber out of the garden and onto the grass -- it was far too heavy for us to lift. Mother Nature certainly has some mighty muscles!
