Just a moment to remember my friend Normand Rondeau. Sadly, he passed away yesterday after a brave fight against Cancer. I remember hanging out with Norm and my friend Elias Kostolias as we would hit all of the record stores on the Shore looking to add to our collections. Norm was also a great musician and we would spend equal amounts of time at the Debussy music store in St. Hubert or the old pawn shop on Taschereau next to Toys R Us as he would also be looking for equipment to add to the studio he was building for himself. Hed also join us for concerts, the last one I attended with him being the Gigantour of 2012. Ill always remember Norm thanks to the album Me & Mr. Johnson by Eric Clapton. I wasnt sure about buying the album, but Norm did and he did nothing but talk about it the next few times I saw him. That was enough for me, I went and bought it the next time I could, and have loved it ever since. I know a moment of silence is usually called for, but Norm loved music and I cant think of a better way for me to celebrate his life than to share one of my favourite tracks from that album with you. My sympathies go out to Norms wife, Rose-Marie, and all of his family and friends. Rest In Peace Norm.
