Just a note I tried to pry off a gel nail(before I discovered 100%acetone And many tutorials) and I actually split my nail in centre so that is. The brown spot that is growing out on my nail . ***Always soak nails to remove them I soak In small glass( not plastic... It eats plastic I guess ) cup then I use my metal nail file to scrape the gel-ly... Then soak and scrape-soak and scrape. A lot of times you get down to a thin layer and it pops off. Thats why I wait till they come off on their own and fix them one at a time when it happens because then I dont have awkward missing nails
