Just a note to update. On Friday night when we were getting Dad ready for bed I noticed that his left lower face looked swollen and sort of droopy and his speech sounded very congested. Press and I grabbed him up and headed for the hospital worry about possible stroke but thought poss. abscessed tooth. As it turned out he did have an abscessed tooth, thank God, and got IV antibiotic and prescription and home. On Sat night he was coughing really deep and congested and so I kept him in his recliner to sleep due to fear that he might aspirate if he got to coughing in the night as he lays flat on his back to sleep. Yesterday he was some better and today sounds a lot better and the med for his tooth is good for respiratory also so hopefully we are on the way to better. Nancy could not get him to go to sleep on Thurs night and ta 2 am I got up and went down and sent her to bed as she had to work the next day and I slept on the couch and we did this again Friday night after getting in from the ER. Nancy spent the night that night with mom as we did not know how long we would be gone. On Sat night Mom felt bad and could not get comfortable and after finally getting her pain relieved she went to bed and I slept on the couch and kept Dad in the recliner. Last night Nancy and dad did get a good nights sleep in the bed. He looks a lot better today and is talking more and seems to be feeling a lot better. I took supper to them as Nancy is staying tonight and comes from work so I did fix spaghetti supper and took for them. We are a small family but we are big in love and we all look out for each other. I pray a lot and we all do and things are beginning to look better and when dad is well we will have to see about getting that tooth out. He had that happen before. The man has had perfect teeth all his life until the past couple of years and has had 2 abscesses that happened due to cracked teeth. Guess teeth grow old too. Please keep our family in your prayers. Without Press and Willie to support and help Nancy and me we would have a harder time but we all work together and try hard. Remember to worship this week and next Sunday and that God loves you and I love you.
