Just a quick hallo folks, I have been meaning to write for days now. *Thanks* so much to everyone who came and supported us on our English dates in April and May, we enjoyed the shows so much :-) almost very show was sold out, we had hecklers, great audiences, brilliant singers...we saw friends old and new, got lost, ate well, and even packed in some exercise. We even had the excitement of a big proposal on the last night of the tour in Milton Keynes (the lady in question said yes, phew!). Happy days. I now have a few more funny anecdotes to add to the collection of touring stories, and some especially strong newly formed memories of singing Donnie Dotaman songs over and over again with my two children all the way around the M25 on a rainy day....Bàta Sheumais a seòladh gu Barraidh, bàta Sheumais is Seumas air bòrd..... So, now its a busy summer ahead of shows in Scotland, England, France and Denmark and those US dates just announced today too for October 2014. Busy times ahead! So sorry we wont make it out West in the US, or to Canada....or New York! There is just never enough time... An enjoyable collaboration with the supremely talented Nicola Benedetti will be released later this year (July 2014)...Ill post more info about that soon. Meanwhile, I have had the head down and working over the last few weeks on a couple of big projects; recording, composing, writing and even rewriting some existing music. Its been fun.
