Just a quick note to let everyone know... We visited the oncologist yesterday, they drew blood to check Randys CEA level. (It shows tumor activity and has a half-life so the doc didnt think it would be significantly lower than the last draw right before surgery at 30 something.) We were pleasantly surprised to be awakened with a phone call this morning announcing that the level was down to 9. something! No additional treatment is warranted, and while he will have two more years of follow-up, they have declared his cancer to be CURED! We so appreciate all the prayers and well wishes! God has blessed us with a positive answer to those prayers. Now I just have to sit on him to keep him home for the rest of his recovery. We expect to re-open the shop and go back to work on Monday the 24th. I have been wearing too many hats at one time over the last 6 weeks, I for one, will be grateful to get back to the daily grind. For that, I only wear two hats at a time instead of 5 or 6.
